Genealogical Society Meeting- “Down on the Farm: Geauga County Farm Life 1958” In-Person
Dress in your “best” farmer attire to explore Geauga County’s agricultural past with Dan Best, retired Geauga County Park District naturalist. Through a fictional farm family, we will learn about dairy farming, winters, maple sugaring, wildlife and teen pastimes in 1958. Enjoy country-themed decorations and a raffle featuring Geauga products.
Social time starts at 6:30 pm. A short business meeting begins at 7:00 pm, followed by the speaker.
