AS-Suzanne Ondrus: Poetic Travel to a Sensational and Scandalous 1881 Incident in Ohio In-Person

Travel to Bowling Green in 1881 and learn about Carl and Mary Bach who were German Ohio farming immigrants, the local 1881-1883 news, and the sensational event of 1883-- the last man hung in Wood County, Ohio. In conjunction with presenting the case and its photos, award-winning poet and WG alumna Suzanne Ondrus will present her forthcoming poetry book based on it: Death of an Unvirtuous Woman. Trigger warning, this talk deals with murder and violence.
