In Person: Ohio Wildlife of the Western Reserve

In Person: Ohio Wildlife of the Western Reserve In-Person

Before Ohio became a state, the Western Reserve was abundant with wildlife and the rivers were teeming with fish and freshwater mussels. As the pioneers moved west and cleared the land for farms and homes the forests were cut down and the resources were depleted. Explore the diverse wildlife of the area through pictures, stories, and animal study skins. Program will feature a costumed interpreter from the Geauga County Historical Society and is suitable for all ages.
