In person- Geauga’s Interurban In-Person
The Maple Leaf Route better known as the Cleveland & Eastern Railroad (C&E) lives on as Dr. Dan Rager presents a compilation from his first and second book on the history of the line in Geauga County. The presentation will include new information not previously published including recently found artifacts. In addition, the demise of the interurbans will be discussed along with a short film clip showing the demolition of rail cars and how local politicians benefited from it.
