Spring Take and Make

Spring Take and Make

Register by April 15 to pick up your craft kit at Geauga West.

Celebrate spring with a quick and easy craft from the Inspiration Station: Geauga County Public Library Maker Space! The kit includes a laser engraved wooden sign celebrating spring and a small removable vinyl sticker. Paint, stain, or leave the sign as it is. Maybe add a dowel rod and stick it in your garden or add some ribbon and hang it in your home. Be creative! The vinyl sticker will stick to any surface and can be easily removed at any time to spruce up a phone case, planner, window, or anywhere. Pick up any time through the month of April.

The Inspiration Station is a new resource for GCPL patrons and will be available this summer. A maker space is a place where you can use a variety of machines to create different items. The equipment available include: a 3D printer, 3D scanner, Cricut Explore Air, large format printer, laser engraver, embroidery machine, sewing machines, sublimation (fabric) printer, heat press, and vinyl cutter. Patrons will be able to learn how to use the machines and schedule time with the machine of their choice to make T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, monograms, engraved drinkware, wooden signs, cards, vinyl window decals, and so much more! What you create is limited only by your imagination!
