Virtual: "SymFUNNY" Workshop

Virtual: "SymFUNNY" Workshop Online

Designed for ages 3-5 years as an extension to the concepts introduced in "SymFUNNY" the book

Learn about the symphony through an interactive reading of “SymFUNNY,” a silly book which introduces children to the orchestra.  After an interactive reading of the book, participants will explore concepts related to music including sound production (vibration, pitch, volume) and homonyms (notes, horns and more) and even one of the instruments of the orchestra – the French Horn!  Workshop will be led by co-author of “SymFUNNY” -  Jeannie Fleming-Gifford (MA Child Development, BA Music and Executive Director at Fairmount Center for the Arts).
