Virtual : Geauga Skywatchers- Geocentrism - Springboard to Copernicus - Part 2

Virtual : Geauga Skywatchers- Geocentrism - Springboard to Copernicus - Part 2 Online

We continue our exploration of the ancient roots of astronomical understanding. Having previously learned about the 3 apparent motions of the sun & discovered the size and shape of the earth, we now discover the equinoxes & solstices, the solar anomaly & length of seasons, and precession of the equinoxes. Geocentrism, while wrong, still has the power to teach valid concepts of modern astronomy!
