CANCELED: VIRTUAL: Latin American Book Club Online
Teens (Grades 9-12) and Adults
A new book club and discussion group centered around Latin American literature. Come explore the cultures and history of various Latin American countries. Discussion will be held in English.
Potential readings include In the Time of Butterflies by Julia Alvarez, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, and My Sweet Orange Tree by Jose Mauro De Vasconcelos.
Note: This session, we will discuss a novel by Paulo Coelho, "The Alchemist."
