Have you ever heard of a Medical Illustrator? You’ve seen the drawings perhaps in a doctor’s office or books, but did you ever wonder who creates them? Beth Halasz, a certified professional medical illustrator and associate professor at Cleveland Institute of Art, will present her scientific and medical illustrations. She will share how she decided upon this career, what training is required of this field, and how a drawing starts with a rough sketch and transforms into a published, informative drawing.
