Maker Space Training: Cricut, Vinyl Cutter, and Heat Press

Maker Space Training: Cricut, Vinyl Cutter, and Heat Press In-Person / Online

This is the mandatory training session that covers the Cricut machines, vinyl cutter, and heat press. This is the mandatory training session for the Cricut Explore Air 2, Cricut Maker 3, and Cricut Mug Press. The vinyl cutter is great for cutting vinyl stickers, signs, wall décor, and garment designs. Use the heat press to attach any heat transfer design from the printer on to your chosen shirt, sweatshirt, apron, bag, or other fabric. The Cricut can cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, heat transfer (iron-on) vinyl, bonded fabric, and poster board. Learn the basic steps to use the these machines so that you can create your own one-of-a-kind items.

All ages welcome to attend the training session. Children under 12 need a guardian with them to use the Cricut, vinyl cutter, and heat press. The guardian must also attend this training before helping a minor with the machines. If you will require assistance, the library recommends finding your own assistant, who must also attend this mandatory training before working in the Inspiration Station.

Must have a Clevnet or GCPL library card to sign the user agreement at the end of the session.
