Epic Film Discussion In-Person
Embark with us as we look at films from many genres and styles from the beginnings of cinema to the present day. We will be focusing on some of the films which have been labeled as Epic’s for their scope or story. Delving into the story, characters and settings both in and behind the films. Watch the film at home and come discuss it with us. This month we will be looking into the 1962 classic Lawrence of Arabia staring Peter O’Toole, Omar Sharif, and Alec Guinness. This tale of adventure and tragedy is set against the back drop of World War 1 in the Ottoman provinces of Hejaz and Greater Syria, based on the 1926 book by T. E. Lawrence Seven Pillars of Wisdom.
