Fantasy Book Discussion In-Person
Come with us on a magical journey as we dive into and discuss the deep worlds crafted in the genre of Fantasy. Each month we will embark on a different adventure through both old and new exciting books full of magic, drama, myth, and heroes.This month we will be exploring the magical world of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord Of The Rings, the 1955 classic that can be seen as the beginning of modern epic fantasy. We will be splitting the book into two discussions, the first covering the material from The Fellowship of the Ring to the first half of The Two Towers. The second discussion on The Lord of The Rings will be continuing with the second-half of The Two Towers to the epic conclusion in The Return of the King.
