Maker Space Training: Cricut and Heat Press

Maker Space Training: Cricut and Heat Press Online

This is the mandatory training session for the Cricut Explore Air 2 and Cricut Maker 3. The training also covers the heat press as it works well with the Cricut. Design paper crafts, cards, banners, shirt designs, stickers, décor, signs, and more with the versatile Cricut machine and design software. The Cricut can cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, heat transfer (iron-on) vinyl, bonded fabric, and poster board. Use the heat press to attach any heat transfer design from the printer on to your chosen shirt, sweatshirt, apron, bag, or other fabric. Learn the basic steps to using the Cricut so that you can come to the Bainbridge branch and create your own one-of-a-kind items.

All ages welcome to attend the training session. Children under 12 need a guardian with them to use the Cricut and heat press. The guardian must also attend this training before helping a minor with the machines. If you will require assistance, the library recommends finding your own assistant, who must also attend this mandatory training before working in the Inspiration Station.

Must have a Clevnet or GCPL library card to sign the user agreement at the end of the session.
