Composting Basics for Backyards and Schoolyards In-Person
Composting is an easy, economic, and essential practice that everyone can do to convert organic waste from our yards and kitchens into nutrient-rich soil. Join the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District to learn composting basics and benefits, different composting methods, and how to avoid common composting problems. A special presentation will also be given by Madeline Ramsey, a Kenston High School student who successfully started a composting program at her school. Don’t miss your chance to win a free compost bin!
